Fathom

Fathom joins your Zoom, Google Meet, or Teams call, transcribes it, and spits out a timestamped summary with action items you can paste into Slack or a doc. As of this week, it can now capture meetings without a bot joining the call at all.

Pricing

Free plan includes unlimited recordings and full transcripts, capped at 5 AI-summarized calls per month. Premium is $20/month ($16 billed annually) for unlimited summaries. Team is $19/user/month, and Business is $34/user/month with CRM sync (Fathom pricing).

Try it in 3 steps

1. Sign up at fathom.ai with your Google or Microsoft account (free, no credit card).
2. Install the desktop app on Mac or the Chrome extension. In the settings panel, toggle "Bot-free capture" for meetings where you don't want a visible participant.
3. After your next call, open the meeting in Fathom and type a question into Ask Fathom ("What action items did I commit to?"). Paste the answer straight into your follow-up email.
